A family bound for a beach vacation and a trucker headed to Georgia were among hundreds of drivers stranded on Interstate 95 in Virginia. Both sides of I-95 around the Fredericksburg area were shut down overnight into Jan. 4, leaving some people stuck in their vehicles for more than 20 hours without food and water.
