Pennsylvania trucking business owner plans to protest, block DC Beltway on Wednesday

A Scranton, Pennsylvania trucking business owner plans to block the D.C. beltway on Wednesday afternoon to protest federal COVID-19 mandates, inflation, and illegal immigration.

“Ultimately, it may be the whole Beltway that’s blocked down,” Bob Bolus told 7News Monday. “We’re making a statement for you people.”

Bolus says he plans to lead a truck convoy to D.C. on Wednesday, with a pit stop to the Pennsylvania state capitol in Harrisburg on the ride down.

Bolus, who is a longtime Trump supporter, adds that his purposeful gridlock on I-495 could continue well into Thursday.
