Parents of Mo Creek, basketball player stuck in Ukraine, plead for help

When 7News first spoke with Maurice “Mo” Creek on Friday, he told sports anchor Scott Abraham he was “terrified.”

Understandably so.

The Oxon Hill native is playing professional basketball in a Ukrainian league and is now stuck in the country as Russia’s deadly invasion continues.

“My mother is crying every day, my father is worried sick, my brothers are calling me nonstop every day,” Creek told Abraham Friday.
