Monday’s storms delay BWI-Marshall flights

Monday afternoon’s round of summer storms caused delays for some travelers at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Data from the flight-tracking website Flight Aware shows 270 flights into or out of BWI-Marshall were delayed, which was more than a third of scheduled flights. By percentage, this put BWI-Marshall fourth in the nation for delays behind all three of New York City’s airports. Another 42 flights in or out of BWI-Marshall were also canceled Monday.
