Thursday, in a Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions Subcommittee hearing entitled ‘Exploring Pathways to Affordable, Universal Health Coverage’, Congresswoman Jayapal said that Medicare for all would increase wages and salaries for workers, as well as give more mobility to workers who are sometimes bounded to their work because of the healthcare coverage.
