Mask mandates, banned books headline heatedschool board meeting

More than 100 people spoke at a Loudoun County School Board meeting Tuesday night over a mask mandate in schools.

The board discussed the school budget, but some parents came to talk about mask mandates and other concerns.

A group of parents was expected to hand out banned books outside the meeting, but 7News did not see them. Instead, a group of parents gathered in support of masks being optional in schools.
