Drivers stranded for hours along I-95 in Northern Virginia after winter storm

The first winter storm of the season dumped over a half of foot of snow in the DC area Monday, causing hazardous road conditions and continuing overnight into Tuesday morning.

Hundreds of drivers have been stuck on I-95 in Fredericksburg, Virginia — some as long as 20 hours due to the winter weather. Many spent their Monday night in their cars.
